Histogram

Histograms are popular graph for summarizing discrete or continuous data. This data is then divided up into classes that each receive a rectangle of height equal to the range of values in that class. For example, in this Histogram, the salary of employees in graphed from least to greatest. Histograms have a bell-shaped curve because most employees make an average income causing the middle bars to be higher than the first or last few.
